The Asset vs. Store Item Boundary: We’ve drawn a strict line to prevent catalog confusion. Assets are actively deployed and tracked through maintenance; Store Items sit in inventory. SIMS handles consumption, asset conversion, and structured discards seamlessly. An Immutable Stock Ledger: No more silently overwriting numbers. Every single change; receipt, issue, transfer, or adjustment is handled via an append-only ledger backed by atomic databases, providing a bulletproof, audit-ready history. Event-Driven Replenishment: Move away from lagging calendar-based reviews. Outbound movements automatically trigger reorder checks, instantly routing targeted approval requests to facility managers. Polymorphic Unified Procurement: A single, organizational-level Purchase Order (PO) can now dynamically route spare parts to a storeroom and a replacement pump directly to an engineering project simultaneously. Compliant Digital Signatures: Fully integrated with AssetsLinQ’s multi-step digital signature infrastructure (including OTP verification) to secure financial threshold overrides before a PO ever hits a vendor. 🔍 Search Less, Decide Faster We’ve capped off the user experience with a blazing fast, keyboard-navigable universal search engine.
