Hey Product Hunt! 👋

I'm Kyle, MachineMail's founder and maker. I've spent 12+ years building and operating cloud infrastructure.

MachineMail gives AI agents their own email addresses so they can complete workflows that depend on email: signing up for services, waiting for verification codes, and replying to messages.

Connect from an MCP client or use the API. Create an inbox on demand, use a catch-all domain, and wait for incoming mail with wait_for_message.

Email is untrusted input and MachineMail prepares agent-safe text and attaches a trust report and level to each inbound message, giving your agent context for deciding how to handle it.

If you're building an AI assistant, bot platform, or another product that wants to offer email to its users, MachineMail is for you too. Pods give each customer a separate space with their own inboxes, domains, webhooks, and API keys scoped to that pod, all within one MachineMail organization. Here's the guide to building with pods.

Every plan includes unlimited inboxes and a trust report on every message. The free plan includes 3,000 messages per month (up to 100 per day) and support for one custom domain you own. Paid plans start at $9/month.

It's easy to get started. Point your agent at machinemail.dev/auth.md and ask it to get a sandbox inbox. No signup needed to try it. Send it an email and see what it can do. If you like it, sign up and claim the address within 24 hours to keep it.

One thing I wanted to say while we’re launching… (thanks for all the upvotes so far 🙏) is that I’d be happy if most people using MachineMail never needed to pay us.

I built it to be an app for everyday people as much as an API for developers. The free plan is meant to be enough for most people: 3,000 emails a month, capped at 100 a day, and support for one custom domain you already own.

The paid plans are there for people who need more: power users running swarms of agents, teams running their company or support email on us, enterprises, and startups building email into their own multi-tenant apps. Giving your agent an inbox should be easy and free.

This looks really well done, congrats. As someone who’s been thinking through the security implications of agent email for a while, you’ve ticked a lot of boxes.

Who hunted MachineMail?

MachineMail was hunted by Kyle. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
