Hey PH! I'm Ritesh, CS student who built LyricVibe because I wanted lyrics that actually felt alive.
The SAMAY theme is actually named after Samay Raina — his video(still alive) inspired the whole idea of LyricVibe , black/cream/red visual identity of LyricVibe. That's where the aesthetic came from.
The hardest part was syncing Spotify — its time element only updates once per second so I had to reverse-engineer the progress bar for millisecond precision.

the word-by-word highlighting makes it feel like a karaoke screen even on normal listening sessions, really slick. loved that the see-through mode blends right into the spotify background without cluttering it up.
