Monitor needs Lumixi Premium (7-day Google Play trial if eligible). Android only—no iPhone. Limits: not medical, not an alarm, and night mode is not infrared.

**What I built:** reuse an old Android as the Camera and your current phone as the Monitor. QR pairing, no Lumixi login, encrypted stream, camera idle when not watched.
**Who it’s for:** Android parents who already have a spare phone in a drawer.
**Honest limits:** Android-only today; night mode ≠ IR; not a medical device or alarm.
I’d love feedback on positioning vs Dormi / dedicated monitors, and whether “old phone → cam” is clear in 3 seconds. Happy to answer anything technical.
