You can write and draw in real time, talk and work with your board on video chat, import PDFs, use LaTeX, graphs and a calculator, and keep everything from the lesson on one board except of using multiple tools just to have one lesson.

I’m Sebastian, the creator of Lucyboard.
I started building it because most online whiteboards felt either too generic or unnecessarily complicated for a simple 1-on-1 lesson.
The idea behind Lucyboard is pretty basic: a teacher creates a board, sends a link, and the student can immediately join and start working. No account, no onboarding, no “please create an account before or after our lesson” :)
Over time I kept adding things I actually wanted while teaching: PDF import, video chats, folders, LaTeX, graphs, a calculator, quizzes, flashcards and a few other tools - everything what a tutor needs is in.
It’s still a small product and I’m building it mostly on my own, so I’d genuinely love to hear what feels useful, what feels unnecessary, and what’s confusing.
