Hey PH community! 👋 I'm Akshay, one of the founders of Lubdub.
A little backstory: we noticed that doctors almost universally end up with other doctors — the shared lifestyle, the understanding of what an on-call night feels like, the unspoken shorthand — it's real. But no dating app was built with any of that in mind.
So we built Lubdub.
The "lub-dub" is the sound your heart makes. We thought it was the right name for an app that's serious about helping medicos find genuine connections — not just swipes.

The shift-aware matching is genuinely clever — finally an app that gets that residents don't have time for 9pm dinner dates. Verification feels solid too, gives the whole thing a less sketchy vibe than the usual swipe scene.
The shift-aware matching actually makes sense for someone whose schedule is all over the place, and it's nice knowing everyone is verified. Wish there were an iOS version though.
