Hey everyone! I'm Mary, one of the two founders of Lounge Surfer.
Quick backstory: I'm an architect with zero coding background. My co-founder Dominik is a software engineer who loves traveling the world and knows everything about frequent flyer programs. A few months ago I started building apps with Claude AI just for fun. Dominik saw what I built and pitched me an idea: most lounge members have a free +1 guest slot that goes completely to waste on every flight. Why not connect them with fellow travelers?
So we built Lounge Surfer. What started as a matching idea grew into something bigger, a lounge directory covering 197 airports, a tool that calculates which travel card actually pays for itself based on how you fly, and a status match radar that tracks free elite status offers most travelers don't even know exist.
