I’m 19 years old and an indie developer and I built LidBendy because I wanted to make the MacBook lid feel a little more… physical. 😄
LidBendy makes your actual desktop bend, blur and shade as you close your MacBook lid, using the real lid angle and Metal rendering.
I built the whole thing as a native macOS app and spent a lot of time getting the effect to feel smooth and responsive.
