Hi Product Hunt, I built Leafmark because I wanted an EPUB reader where my notes were not trapped. I did not want another account around my reading notes. Leafmark is for people who read DRM-free EPUBs closely on iPhone or iPad. It helps them keep highlights in plain text. What it does: - Import EPUBs from Files - Read with themes and fonts - Adjust spacing, margins, scroll mode, and iPad columns - Highlight in four colors and add notes - Export highlights and notes to Markdown - Track reading time and streaks - Use it without an account, analytics, ads, or cloud lock-in Reading is free. Leafmark Pro is a one-time purchase. It unlocks unlimited highlights, Markdown export, and reading statistics. I would especially like feedback from people who used Marvin or Apple Books, and from Obsidian, Notion, or Calibre users. I want to know what would stop Leafmark from replacing your current EPUB setup.

The buy-once model alone makes me want to switch from the reader I'm using now. One thing I'd love to see is a built-in sync option that works through iCloud Drive so my highlights and notes stay in step between iPhone and iPad without needing an account on your servers. Would keep the privacy promise intact and make daily reading way smoother.

markdown export is the part that sold me, dragged a whole folder of epubs in and the notes landed cleanly in obsidian without cleanup
