I’m Soyayeb, founder of LawSignals.
I started building this after spending time with legal teams who were trying to track AI legislation across different states. Most were doing it manually, checking multiple websites, updating spreadsheets, and still missing important changes. It felt like something that should not be this hard.
One thing that came up early was privacy. Attorneys were understandably concerned about attorney client privilege, so we designed things a bit differently. Your AI queries go directly from your browser to OpenAI or Claude and never pass through our servers. We call it BYOK, bring your own key.
We are now seeing early interest from legal teams at a few Am Law firms, which has been really encouraging.
