I'm Dimitar, the solo dev behind LaterRex.
I built it because my tracking was spread across many apps and I was struggling with managing them all - Letterboxd for films, Goodreads for books, a Notes list for games, and my memory for everything else. There were too many times where a friend "you HAVE to watch this," and it'd just never get added to my backlog, or I'd forget who recommended it.
LaterRex is one place for all of it: movies, tv shows, books, games, music and podcasts. Save what you want to get to, log and rate what you finish, keep a little journal of your history. And the part I care about most - you can send a rec to a friend with a note attached, so the "why you'll love this" travels with it and the good ones stop disappearing.

It's iPhone-only for now (iOS 26+). I'd really love your honest feedback, especially on what's missing - that's what makes it better.

Finally something that replaces the six apps I was juggling. The shared recs with personal notes feel like group chats done right, and the journal view of everything I've finished is oddly satisfying to scroll through.
finally an app that doesn't force me to juggle five different lists for everything i consume. loved being able to send a friend a rec with a quick note instead of just dropping a screenshot in chat.
The "send a recommendation with a note" idea is really thoughtful. One thing I'd love to see is a shared watchlist or list feature, so a small group of friends can maintain a collective "to watch together" queue. It would make deciding what to put on for a movie night way less painful than scrolling through five different apps.
Would love to see a "weekly recap" view that surfaces what you finished or added that week, kind of like Spotify Wrapped but ongoing. It would make the history journal feel way more rewarding to actually look back on instead of just sitting there.
