Kulman is a free, lightweight web-based CAD application. Open, edit, and export DXF files directly in your browser — no registration, no ads, no data collection. Ideal for engineers, CNC enthusiasts, and civil designers. Most CAD tools are either too heavy or sacrifice your privacy to the cloud. KulmanLab is a browser-based CAD engine designed for speed and total data ownership. No registration, no ads, and 100% offline-first—your DXF files never leave your machine.
I’m the creator of KulmanLab. My journey with CAD started 10 years ago in Civil Engineering. While I’ve used AutoCAD for years, I realized that for 99% of my daily tasks—especially for my CNC hobby—I didn't need heavy 3D modeling or cloud subscriptions. I just needed a fast, precise 2D tool that stayed out of my way.
After 3 years of development from my home in Ukraine, I’m excited to share a tool that is 100% offline-first, requires no registration, and respects your privacy.
What’s under the hood?
I’ve built a complete 2D engine from scratch that includes:
Core Tools: Line, Polyline, Circle, Arc, Ellipse, and Text.
Advanced Geometry: High-precision Splines (both Fit and CV modes).
Modification, Move, Copy, Rotate, Mirror, Trim are supported
Workflow: Full DXF Import/Export and high-quality Printing into PNG.
The Mission:
I’m keeping KulmanLab free forever to support students, makers, and engineers who need a reliable tool without the professional-grade price tag or the "cloud-mandatory" login.
I’m here all day to answer questions about building a CAD engine from scratch or the "no-registration" philosophy. Do you need any extra tools to be supported? Tell me in the comment
Happy building!

Who hunted Kulman?
Kulman was hunted by kulman Lab. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
