I'm Klomix, a C++ & Qt developer from Poland. I built Klomimory because I was tired of switching between Obsidian and Anki for language learning.
My workflow used to look like this: write a word in Obsidian → export to Anki → review in Anki → fix formatting in Obsidian → repeat. It was clunky and killed my motivation more than once.
So I built my own solution: a plugin that turns Markdown notes into flashcards with spaced repetition, right inside Obsidian.
The idea is simple: you write cards in your notes using a human-readable syntax:
hola - [ˈola] - hello
What is the capital of Spain? :: Madrid
And the plugin handles the rest — review sessions, missed card queues, statistics, streaks. Everything stays local in your vault.
What I didn't expect: building an Obsidian plugin is a very different experience from just writing TypeScript. I had to deal with Markdown parsing edge cases, Obsidian's event system, and mobile UI — things I'd never touched before. It was a learning experience, and I'm still improving it.
