We're Kapean.ph.
We built Kapean because we were frustrated with how difficult it was to discover great cafés in the Philippines. Finding the right coffee shop usually meant bouncing between Google Maps, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and old blog posts.
So we decided to build a dedicated platform for café discovery.
Today, Kapean already includes 18,600+ cafés and coffee shops across the Philippines, with detailed listings and search tools designed specifically for coffee lovers—not just generic maps.
This is only the first step. The vision is to build the home for coffee discovery in the Philippines, with community contributions, better recommendations, city guides, curated lists, and much more.
