isostate lets developers create animated isometric scenes for documentation, product walkthroughs, architecture diagrams, and visual explainers. Write scenes in YAML, edit them visually in the browser, compile them at build time, and embed lightweight SVG output anywhere.
isostate is an open-source toolkit for building scroll-driven isometric visual stories on the web.
It combines a YAML scene DSL, an online visual editor, build-time validation/compilation, and a tiny SVG runtime with zero browser dependencies.
Use it for product walkthroughs, technical documentation, architecture diagrams, process flows, and presentation-style scene progressions. Scenes can be driven by scroll position, a slider, a timeline, or custom application state.
The important part: YAML parsing, validation, and compilation happen before deployment. The browser only receives the runtime, compiled scene data, and referenced SVG assets.
