Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Guillem, the indie developer behind iSard.
As a runner, I realized that most fitness apps are great at tracking numbers — pace, distance, heart rate — but very few make me want to come back and relive the activity itself.
That became the starting point for iSard: a GPS tracker for running, hiking, cycling, and walking that combines accurate activity tracking with beautiful maps and 3D Flyover replays.
I started with a simple idea: build a clean, Apple-native GPS tracker using what I’d learned from NEU, my first app for skiers. But the product evolved a lot while I was building it. What started as basic GPS tracking grew into 3D route replays, offline maps, Apple Watch support, and sync across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch.
My process also changed. I’ve been experimenting heavily with agentic coding and AI-assisted development, which allowed me to prototype ideas, iterate, and ship much faster as a solo developer.
The goal, though, has stayed the same: outdoor activities shouldn’t become just another row in your workout history. I want iSard to make them worth remembering.
