So I built the opposite. Internet Apartment is a 16-storey tower that exists only on the internet, and every address in it is for sale exactly once.
What a business can buy:
- A single office from $9. One room, one door, one logo. The cheapest address you will ever own.
- A whole floor from $101. Every door on it carries your name, up to nine addresses.
- A street-side ad slab at $750. Six of them stand around the tower, and your artwork wraps all four sides.
- The rooftop billboard at $2,183. One buyer, ever. Visible from every angle of the skyline.
One payment. No renewal, no auction, nobody outbidding you off it.
Then you fit it out. Your logo goes on the door, your showreel plays on the TVs inside, your work hangs on the walls, and your site sits behind the number plate. Visitors walk the building in real 3D in the browser, no download, and can step into your office in first person and look around.
The tower runs on real time, too. It computes actual sun and moon positions for the visitor's city, so the building is lit for whatever time it is where they are, and owners control their own lights on a schedule.
To be straight about what this is: it is a novelty address, not real estate and not an investment. There is no resale value, and all sales are final. It is a strange, permanent, one-payment spot on the internet with your name on it.
