I built Intentt because every habit/task app I tried wanted an account, wanted my data in the cloud, or wanted a monthly fee for things that used to just be... a to-do list. I wanted something that respected two things: my data staying on my device, and no subscription treadmill.
It started as just a habit tracker, but I kept noticing habits and tasks compete for the same attention, so a task manager followed naturally, and a Pomodoro timer after that to help protect focus once things got planned. The trickiest part was building measurable habits (things like "minutes read" or "km run") without cluttering the UI — that took several redesigns.
It's local-first: no account, no data collection, no ads. One-time Pro upgrade instead of a subscription.
