Hi 👋 I'm Anthony, an indie maker and developer from France, currently living in Spain. I'm happy to finally introduce Inertia Start, a Laravel, Inertia.js and Vue.js starter kit I've been wanting to turn into a production-ready product for quite some time. It's the result of my years (10+) as a Laravel and Vue.js developer: an optimized, carefully documented foundation that brings together what used to be scattered across several projects. → Why build another starter kit? Because most SaaS starter kits are built with React/Next.js, and I prefer Vue and Laravel. I've always thought Laravel is the best backend framework, and now thanks to Inertia.js, it's also the best choice for full-stack apps. I'd always wanted a solid Laravel + Vue boilerplate, so I ended up building one myself! → Is it still relevant in the age of AI? Even the best prompt can't beat a polished, well-documented codebase. Inertia Start ships with a Laravel Boost skill and comprehensive AI guidelines, so your coding agent (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex…) performs even better ⚡ Plus, you stay in control: the codebase remains maintainable and easy for humans to understand. Here are some of its highlights: • Auth: email/password, magic links, OAuth providers, passkeys, 2FA, sessions and device management, rate limiting to protect from brute-forcing. • Billing: Stripe & Paddle behind one interface, one-time and recurring payments, webhooks handled. Can run as merchant of record if you want international VAT handled for you (even when using Stripe, I've added support for their new Managed Payments service). Switching provider is an env variable. It comes with Vue components (checkout sections and pricing cards populated with your Stripe or Paddle prices) and checkout pages ready to use. • Teams: create teams, invite members by email, Owner/Admin/Member roles with granular permissions. • Localization: English, Spanish and French translations included. URL prefixing with the locale and translatable URL paths improve SEO. • Analytics: cookieless, GDPR-safe visitor attribution that follows an anonymous visitor and attaches to their account when they sign up. No cookie banner required. • Admin area, notification preferences, activity logs, 27 primary and 26 secondary colours, light and dark • Built for coding agents: Laravel Boost and MCP pre-configured, with convention rules and dedicated Inertia Start skills. • Inertia Table: my premium data table component, built with Vue, TanStack Table, shadcn-vue, and Spatie Query Builder, is included. You pay once and can use it in unlimited projects, with access to twelve months of updates. The source code stays yours forever.
