Indie Chains is a paid, curated network where approved founders discover relevant sites, send context-first collaboration requests, and build useful mentions, reviews, and resource placements without cold outreach or spammy link swaps.
Hey!
I’m launching Indie Chains because link building for small founders is still weirdly painful.
Most options feel like one of three things: cold outreach, paid placement marketplaces, or low-quality link swaps. None of those felt right for indie SaaS founders, useful directories, blogs, newsletters, and product builders who actually care about relevance.
Indie Chains is my attempt at a cleaner version: a paid, curated collaboration network where approved site owners can find relevant opportunities, send context-first requests, and build useful mentions, reviews, and resource placements without spamming inboxes.
A few principles behind the product:
- Every submitted site goes through manual review
- Requests should explain why the placement makes sense
- Members need a real project behind each request
- The network is about useful editorial fit, not bulk link trading
- Early members can lock in the launch price while the network is still small
I’d love feedback from founders, SEO folks, marketers, and anyone who has tried to build links without turning into a cold outreach machine.
What would make a collaboration network like this feel trustworthy enough for you to join?
honestly this looks useful for avoiding spammy outreach, but it would be really helpful if there was some kind of match score or compatibility indicator before sending a request, basically so founders can see at a glance how relevant a site actually is to their niche
The approval gate really changes the vibe, every request I've gotten so far actually fits my site instead of feeling like spam. Nice to see a link-building tool that doesn't make me dread my inbox.
Curated link networks only stay valuable if they actively prune inactive or low quality members, so a public quality score or renewal date for each founder in the directory would make trust much easier to gauge before reaching out.

Indie Chains was hunted by Tenta Dev. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
