So I built a background remover that runs entirely in your browser. The AI model (ormbg, Apache-2.0) runs on your own device with WebAssembly, so your photos never leave your computer. No sign-up, no credits, no watermark.
How it evolved:
• It started as a single-image tool: remove the background, fix missed spots with a brush, crop, and export PNG/JPG/WEBP (plus ID-photo sizes).
• Sellers kept needing whole catalogs, so I added a bulk mode: drop a folder of up to 100 product photos, pick Amazon, Shopify, eBay, or Etsy, and get centered, consistently sized images in one ZIP, with optional shadows, file-size limits, and SKU-style file names.
• Running AI in the browser used to freeze the page, so inference now runs in a Web Worker and you can keep working while a batch processes.
Heads-up: the first image takes longer because the model downloads once, then it's cached. Glass and very shiny products are still the hardest cases.
