I build a lot of side projects. Every one of them needs an email address — hello@, support@, somewhere the Stripe receipts can land. And every time I hit the same wall: Google Workspace wants per-seat money per domain, forwarding services can't actually reply as the address, and running a mail server costs a weekend I don't get back.
AI made shipping 10x cheaper. The infra underneath didn't. Most side projects won't work out — that's the point of experiments — so paying workspace prices for each one never made sense to me.
