As an independent web and mobile app developer, I've always leaned towards building offline-first architectures and low-dependency systems. Over the years, I constantly found myself needing quick, everyday utilities—like formatting JSON, stripping EXIF data from photos, or fixing out-of-sync subtitles.
The problem? Almost every free tool ranking on Google is either bloated with spammy ads or forces you to upload your sensitive files to their remote servers just to do a simple calculation. That felt completely unnecessary.
So, I built Ic2Share. It’s a growing directory of utility tools built entirely on a strict zero-server-upload philosophy.

Honestly the offline-first angle is great. One thing that would be really handy is a built-in way to chain tools together, like strip EXIF then auto-resize then convert format, instead of having to download and re-upload between each one. Would make batch workflows way less painful.
Offline-first is a huge win for privacy, especially the EXIF stripper. One thing that would make this toolkit stand out even more is a batch processing mode for the metadata tools, so you can drag in a whole folder of images and strip them all at once instead of one by one.
