I bought my first house and quickly realized I had no idea what needed doing or when. I looked for an app that understood Nordic conditions, maintenance windows tied to seasons, freeze cycles, etc. Nothing good existed that was built for the nordic climate, so I built it.
Huoleton ("carefree" in Finnish) gives your home a personalized maintenance plan based on what you actually have: your heating system, roof type, and so on. It handles the scheduling so you don't have to keep it all in your head.
What it does:
Onboarding builds a maintenance plan specific to your property
Main view shows overdue, open, and upcoming tasks at a glance
Tasks recur automatically with smart defaults but are fully adjustable
Track estimated vs. actual costs with visualizations
Log water and energy usage to catch anomalies early (leaks, failing equipment)
Attach photos and documents when completing tasks; auto-generates repair tasks when issues are found
Keep an equipment register with warranties and documentation
Export your full maintenance history which is invaluable when selling the property
Pro adds cloud backup (end-to-end encrypted), multi-device sync, and the ability to share your property with a partner or family member.
