Human.exe
A playable album: walk a pixel city, every shop is a song
Human.exe is a lofi concept album you explore instead of stream. Walk through an 8-bit neon city — every shop is named after a track, step inside and it plays. Built solo by a French developer who started making music during lockdown. Free, no signup, runs in your browser.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm a French developer, and I started making lofi music during the COVID lockdown — mostly as a way to deal with the strange silence of that time. I've been releasing music as LowiFy ever since.
For my new album, I kept coming back to the same thought: dropping a Spotify link felt like the least interesting way to share something I'd spent months on. The album is about drifting between online worlds and real life — so I built a world you could actually walk into.
Human.exe is an 8-bit neon city you explore in your browser. Every shop is named after a track. Walk in, and the song plays. That's it. No signup, no download, no score to beat — just a place to wander while the music runs.
It's the first time I've combined the two halves of what I do: the precision of writing code and the messiness of writing music. Turns out they get along better than I expected.
A few things I'd genuinely love feedback on:
Does exploring an album actually make you more likely to listen to it than a streaming link?
Anything that feels off in the controls or the pacing?
Which shop did you walk into first?
Happy to answer anything about the build, the pixel art, or how I produce the tracks. Thanks for checking it out 🎧
