HoodCleaningReport
CompanyCam photos in. Inspection-ready hood reports out.
HoodCleaningReport turns commercial kitchen exhaust job photos into inspection-ready reports and branded PDFs. Import the CompanyCam photo set, let AI draft the NFPA 96 / ANSI-IKECA C10 fields, review, and send a client Vault link same shift, no retyping, no VA.
Hey Product Hunt 👋 - Parth here.
I build software with a commercial kitchen-exhaust cleaning contractor. The pattern that
kept coming up on ride-alongs: the crew finishes the hood cleaning, packs the truck, and
drives off, and the actual report is nowhere. It's a folder of CompanyCam photos plus a
few texts, waiting on the office or a VA to turn it into something a restaurant GM or a
fire marshal will accept. Days later. Sometimes with fields missing, which turns a
finished job into a callback.
HoodCleaningReport is the fix. The loop:
1. Import the CompanyCam photo set for the job; tags, captions, timestamps, and GPS all come with it.
2. AI drafts the report from those photos, structured around real NFPA 96 and ANSI/IKECA C10 reporting fields.
3. You review and approve your edits, not retyping.
4. Publish a branded PDF and send a signed Vault link. The GM opens it with no login. Every report is retained with full service history.
What it deliberately is NOT: it doesn't claim to certify compliance. It documents the
work: what was cleaned, what was found, what's still deficient, so the record answers
the questions customers, insurers, and AHJs actually ask.

If you run or work with a hood cleaning crew, I'd love to hear how you handle reports
today and where this would fit (or where it wouldn't). I'll be here all day.
Imported a CompanyCam set and the AI had NFPA 96 fields pretty much filled in, only had to tweak two items before sending. Vault link to the client same shift actually worked, that part alone is worth it.
The CompanyCam import saving real time on site is the kind of detail that shows you actually talked to crews first. Clean branded PDFs same shift without retyping is huge.
