Hiyoko AutoSync makes Android-to-Mac sync invisible. Plug in, it starts. Once paired, goes fully wireless. Built with Rust for fast, stable transfers. HEIC→JPG auto-convert, conflict resolution, storage analyzer. Stop fighting with MTP.
I built this because every time I connected my Android to my Mac, I had to go through the same annoying ritual — open app, tap "File Transfer," open another app, start sync manually. Every. Single. Time.
So I automated the whole thing. Now I just plug in once, and it handles everything — including switching to Wi-Fi so I don't even need the cable next time.
Solo dev, built with Rust + Tauri. Would love to hear what you think! 🐤
I'm a solo indie dev, and I built HiyokoAutoSync because I was tired of the clunky, manual ritual every time I connected my Android to my Mac:
Open app → tap "File Transfer" → open another app → start sync.
So I automated the whole thing. Here's the Zero-Touch experience:
Plug in your Android via USB
HiyokoAutoSync detects it, auto-switches USB to MTP via ADB
Sync starts instantly — zero taps on your phone
Next time? It connects over Wi-Fi. You'll never need the cable again.
Under the hood (for the curious):
— Tauri + Rust: High performance, native feel, and no Electron bloat
— 4-parallel engine (Tokio): Blazing fast sync at 45MB/s+
— Bundled ADB: Works out of the box
— Pro tools: HEIC→JPG conversion, storage analyzer, safe deletion
Setup takes just a few minutes — then it's fully automatic, forever. No more manual steps, no more cable dependency. 🐤
Would love your feedback!
