Why?
Because I have no self control?
Then why do I find it easy to not eat junk food?
Because I know that each bite I take cost a certain amount of calories.

Would that make it more or less likely that I stop wasting 4 hours a day turning my brain into mush and distracting myself with cheap dopamine?
So I made a chrome extension called Hidden Value to quite honestly, help me get a grip on my life.
My average time wasted per day went down from 4.23h/day to around 1.5h/day.
That's literally 75 hours per month.
Now I'm not saying everybody that decides to use Hidden Value will magically get back 75 hours per month.
I think I was probably wasting a lot more time than most people actually do.
But I am confident in the fact that it will increase the likelyhood that you don't waste as much time.
