The idea came from a problem we kept running into ourselves.
Our company knowledge was everywhere: Slack, Notion, Google Drive, GitHub, docs, conversations, and inside the heads of different people.
AI made finding that knowledge easier, but it introduced a much bigger problem: How do you give AI access to everything your company knows without giving it access to everything?
Most AI knowledge tools solve the retrieval problem. Connect your sources, index the data, ask questions.
That works until different employees have different permissions, agents start accessing the same knowledge, sensitive information gets mixed into retrieval, and someone eventually asks:
“Can you prove exactly what the AI had access to when it gave this answer?”
That is what we built Brain to solve.
Brain sits between your company knowledge and the AI tools your team already uses. It checks who is asking, retrieves only the information that person or agent is cleared to access, and creates a tamper-evident, content-blind record of every access. Connect the tools your company already works in, including Slack, GitHub, Google Drive, Notion, Box, Confluence and Salesforce, and Brain becomes a persistent company memory that both humans and agents can query under the same permissions.
