I built this after realising how unclear local health information often is - especially during situations like the recent meningitis cases affecting students here in the UK.
Most people seem to rely on a mix of word of mouth, inaccurate news, or delayed updates - and even then, it’s not always clear what it actually means.
The goal with this app is simple:
→ make local health alerts easier to understand
→ add context without creating unnecessary concern
It’s still early, and I’m actively refining how information is presented - particularly around clarity and tone.
