I'm a web developer who sometimes freelances. The embarrassing truth is I was sending clients a Google Form and a separate Stripe invoice link right up until I built this. The gap between the work quality and the onboarding experience was painful.
The part I'm most proud of technically: the deposit is embedded inside the portal via Stripe Elements. No redirect to an invoice page. Client pays inline - card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. Money routes straight to the freelancer's bank via Stripe Connect. I haven't seen another freelance onboarding tool do this.
