My name is Ángel, an eighteen-year-old developer from Spain. I designed Grafo because I loved the organization of Notion and Obsidian but wanted to solve their main issues, such as performance lag and expensive subscription paywalls. Grafo is a completely free, local-first productivity workspace built with a modern, glassmorphic iOS 28 design aesthetic. It combines traditional page creation and databases with advanced built-in features that other platforms charge for.
Beyond standard text and note organization, Grafo includes an interactive visual mind-mapping system in both 2D and 3D with custom themes like metallic, neon, and glass. It also features a digital whiteboard designed for drawing and solving math formulas, a built-in time tracker for study or workout sessions, and a secure system to connect your own AI model using your personal API key. For data privacy, your notes are stored locally in your browser, with the option to sync and back them up directly to your personal Google Drive account.
Grafo is currently in beta, and I am developing new features every day. To keep this project independent and free of forced paid subscriptions, I rely entirely on community support to cover development and hosting costs. Any donation to my GoFundMe is highly appreciated. Local-first with that iOS 27 look is a really nice combo. Mind map + time tracker on the same canvas feels like it could replace three of my open tabs.
Love the local-only setup and the iOS-inspired style, that's what pulled me in. One thing I'd love is a quick way to export a mind map to a PDF or image directly from the whiteboard, would make sharing ideas with non-Grafo friends way easier.
