We kept losing arguments about which country has more something, and every answer we found lived in a PDF table. So we built a globe you can spin and explore easily.
Click any country and you get the real numbers – GDP, wages, inflation – but also the ones people actually repeat out loud: how many billionaires live there, how many unicorn startups, how strong the passport is, how many McDonald's, what are the taxes and many more
The games weren't the plan. We built the first one to test the data and it ate the project. There are 16 now: Speedrun 195 (name every country in three minutes), Flagle, Capital Match, Place It, a weekly mega quiz, and head-to-head duels you can send to a friend.
Then someone asked what the points were for.
So now you earn GlobeMillions by playing, and countries go to auction.
Win one and you hold it for 12 hours, or 24 if you skip the bidding and buy it outright. While you hold it, your avatar and name sit on that country's page, with a short note and one link to allow users to promote their products, social medias or websites. Every note is reviewed before it goes public. Hold a country longer than anyone else and you become its Country King. Someone has already held France for two days.
Everything is free. You only need an account to keep your records and to bid. English, Russian, Portuguese, Spanish.
It's three months old and rough in places. We'd rather hear what's broken than what's nice at this point
