I'm Adrián, founder of som-os.dev and developer from Mallorca. GenLegalTxt started as an internal tool: every client website I built needed privacy policies, cookie policies, legal notices... and I kept rewriting the same texts with small variations. So I built generators. Then clients asked for more languages. Then one client wanted documents generated programmatically — so I opened the whole thing as a public API.
Today it generates 6 document types in 7 languages, completely free:
🖥️ The generators — fill the form, watch the document build itself in live preview, export as HTML, Markdown or PDF. No email wall, no "create an account to see your document".
⚙️ The API — the part I'm most proud of for this crowd: genuinely public (no key, no signup), one endpoint per document type, full OpenAPI 3.1 spec with interactive Scalar docs, and both HTML and Markdown output. Rate limit is a sane 30 req/min — use it in your SaaS, your CI pipeline, your client projects.
Honest disclosure: it's not a paid product — donations (Stripe) and one slot for my agency keep the lights on. The templates are adapted to Spanish and EU law: a solid starting point, not a substitute for a lawyer in complex cases.
