Stop dealing with 40-person noisy Whatsapp groups just to play badminton. Built for the person who wants to play today evening, not organise a group chat. Browse open games near you - see who's already in before you commit. Request a spot in two taps. Hosts can auto-approve or manual-approve - your call, per game. When someone drops, the next person in line is approved automatically. Privacy-first contact sharing - your number only reaches a host after they approve you, never posted publicly

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I built GameOn because I was tired of local sports games dying in group chat purgatory; half the group ghosts the thread, you don't know who's actually showing up, and when someone cancels last minute you're scrambling for a replacement. GameOn puts games on a map instead. You see exactly who's in, request a spot, and if you can't make it, the waitlist automatically pulls in the next person — no one has to notice or ask. A few things to highlight: - No account needed to browse — you only sign in when you're ready to request a spot. - Contact details stay private until a host actually approves you - Hosting takes one form: set a capacity, turn on auto-approve if you want it hands-off, done Would love feedback, especially from anyone who organises recurring games (badminton, football, cricket, running groups, etc.) — what would make this a no-brainer for your group?

Comment highlights

Would love a skill-level filter so I can join games with people around my level instead of getting wrecked by folks way better than me. Most groups I play with have a mix of beginners and regulars, and it's hard to tell from a chat who's who.

The auto-approve queue system is smart, but I'd love a rating feature for hosts - stuff like how often they cancel last minute, how welcoming they are, whether the skill level matches what they posted. Right now there's no way to know if that "casual" game near me is actually competitive or if the host ghosts every time it rains. Even a simple thumbs up/down after playing would help people filter out flaky groups before they commit.

Love how clean the auto-approve from the waitlist is. One thing that would help me though, a way to set a radius preference for notifications so I only get pinged about games within a 10 min drive instead of everything in the city. Would save a lot of irrelevant opens to scroll through.
