Hi Product Hunt, I’m the founder of FUZZ.VC. Most startup services are designed to help founders make their companies look better: improve the pitch deck, refine the story, validate assumptions, prepare for fundraising. We decided to do the opposite. FUZZ is an adversarial stress-testing service for startups. Instead of asking, “How can we make this startup more attractive?”, we ask a much less comfortable question: How can this startup fail? The idea came from a simple observation. A founder can spend months or years building a company, and almost everything around them is constructive: make the product better, strengthen the model, improve the deck, tell a more convincing story. But eventually the startup meets people who think in reverse. Investors, competitors, regulators, customers, and sometimes reality itself start looking for the assumptions that don’t hold. So why wait until then? Founders give FUZZ their startup materials and we deliberately attack the business logic. We look at unit economics, market assumptions, competition, customer acquisition, technical dependencies, legal and regulatory exposure, operations, security, scalability, and other potential failure mechanisms. The objective is not to generate a huge AI-written list of generic risks. We try to identify the assumptions the business actually depends on and find a credible way to break them. If we find one, we explain the failure mechanism and the reasoning behind it. If we attack the important assumptions and cannot find a credible way to break the business, that is also a valid result. We don't invent problems just to make the report look useful. We currently offer two levels: BREAK - $900 We attack the existing business model and try to find a credible failure mechanism. BREAK + REBUILD - $2,500 We attack it, work on a rebuilt structure addressing the weaknesses we found, and then attack the rebuilt version again. And there is an obvious challenge to FUZZ itself: Anyone can upload a pitch deck to an LLM and ask, “What’s wrong with this startup?” If FUZZ is nothing more than expensive AI criticism, then FUZZ has no reason to exist. We believe there is a meaningful difference between generating criticism and conducting a structured adversarial attack on the assumptions a business depends on. But it would be pretty hypocritical to build a company around stress-testing startups and then protect our own business model from criticism. So that’s what I’d most like from Product Hunt: Try to break FUZZ. Tell me where you think the business model fails, what assumption we’re getting wrong, or what would stop you from using it. If you find something credible, I want to hear it.
