Hi PH - I'm Tolga, I built Fricam.
Quick background: I run Frigate at home and kept running into the same frustration - the only way to check cameras on my phone was a browser tab, which is genuinely bad for anything time-sensitive. I looked for an app, found nothing, so I built one.
What Fricam does:
Direct connection to your Frigate server. Multi-camera grid, focused playback, event review filtered by camera and type, rich push notifications with snapshots. No cloud middleman; your footage stays where your Frigate server is.
All four platforms, natively:
Android, iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch - each with a proper native implementation, not a wrapped web view. The Watch app is standalone: live snapshots and video playback on your wrist. The Android version adds Home Assistant widget support for camera controls.
Try it without a server:
There's a full demo mode built in. You don't need a Frigate instance running to see what the app does - just install and explore.
Remote access without a VPN:
Fricam Edge is an optional add-on subscription that gives you encrypted relay access to your Frigate instance from outside your home network. No public URL, no port forwarding, no VPN setup. If you're happy with your existing remote access setup, you don't need it.

Free to download with the full demo mode. Fricam Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks live cameras, events, and notifications against your real Frigate server. Family Sharing is included on both platforms - one purchase covers everyone in your household.
