I spin up a lot of projects - even more now that AI makes it cheap to start something new every week - and my Mac was always out of space: dead node_modules folders, build caches, model downloads, Xcode derived data. The preview before deleting files is genuinely reassuring, especially for someone who’s accidentally nuked the wrong folder before. One-time $9 feels fair for something this calm and native feeling.
Been burned by too many "Mac cleaner" apps that turn into subscription traps or start nagging about fake threats after week one. love the no subscription angle and the preview before delete thing is genuinely useful. one thing i'd want is a scheduled scan option so it can quietly run cleanup weekly without me remembering to open it. right now i have to remember to launch it myself which kinda defeats the point for me.
