I’m the maker of Freestyle Calculator.
I built this because I wanted a calculator that felt less disposable.
The core idea is simple: Fix a typo without starting over.
From there, I added two more things I kept wanting in the same flow:
- Save frequent calculations as custom formulas and reuse them later.
- Rearrange the keypad to match how you actually like to input numbers and operators.
So the product is really about making repeated calculations feel like a personal workflow instead of a disposable one-off keypad.
