Hey Product Hunt, Jacob here 👋

I built FreeScan because I was tired of stitching together an SEO auditor, accessibility checker, security scanner, AI visibility tool, uptime monitor, and task board just to understand whether a website was actually healthy.

Even then, most tools stopped at a score and a checklist. They showed what failed, but not always the evidence, why it mattered, what to fix first, or how to hand the work to a developer or coding agent.

FreeScan brings that entire workflow together. Audit any public page for free across SEO, AI visibility, security, accessibility, and design. Every finding includes the evidence, why it matters, a clear fix, and an implementation-ready prompt or Markdown handoff.

FreeScan Pro adds automated site-wide audits, change history, and dedicated SEO, AI Visibility, and Fixes workspaces. It also creates agent-ready artifacts, connects coding agents through MCP, monitors uptime, and sends weekly reports and downtime alerts from one dashboard.

Try it on your own site and tell me what FreeScan found that you did not already know. If anything feels unclear, incorrect, or missing, I want to hear it.

Comment highlights

This is a nice looking product. Ran it on one of my upcoming products and it provided a clear report and clear actionable items to address. It was quick for the l3vel of detail that was provided. Great work.

Really appreciate that FreeScan actually lives up to its name — you get a genuinely useful, detailed report without immediately running into the annoying paywalls you see with a lot of tools in this space. Nice work! 👏

Congrats on the launch! as an seo manager, this is definitely interesting and can't wait to try it.

Can the MCP integration allow for automatic application of fixes by agents or just notify a developer about them?
Btw, Congartulations @jakecounsell on the brilliant launch of FreeScan.app 🚀✌️.

every finding includes evidence is the line that separates this from the category, because the reason nobody acts on audit tools is that a list of 200 findings with no evidence is indistinguishable from noise. the thing i would add is a count of findings you chose not to report, so the number means something.

Congrats on your launch @jakecounsell - if people use your app, they'll be surprised at how badly AI can still mess your site up.

cool concept, super useful. I love the UI (am a sucker for great aesthetics). will be using this greatly ! Congrats on the launch Jacob !

Cool beans! Got a B grade - could be worse - actually a lot of very in depth recommendations, unlike some other similar tools in this space. Well done:)

Did good review of my site. Liked the product

Been using FreeScan to get an in depth view on how my apps are looking for a little while now. Never fails to provide a quick way to see the health of every app I run through it. Great app Jake!
