Hey everyone! 👋 So, a little story behind FreeEditTools. I make quite a lot of content, and honestly, I got tired of opening my full video editor every time I needed to do something really small. Just changing an aspect ratio, trimming a tiny part, compressing a video, converting a file, extracting a frame, or doing some other small thing would mean opening the editor, importing the clip, making the change, exporting it, and then waiting for the export. It just felt like way too much work for such small tasks. So I started making some small tools for myself. And after building a few of them, I thought, "Why not just put all of these together and make them available to everyone?" That's basically how FreeEditTools started. Right now there are 40+ tools for video, audio, images, and a few small productivity things too. Some of them are tools I genuinely use myself. For example, I made the Temporary Text Editor because I was constantly saving video titles, descriptions and other random text somewhere, then coming back later to copy-paste it. Having one simple tab where I could keep that stuff temporarily was just... convenient. Same with little things like the Thumbnail Picker. They're not huge complicated features, but sometimes these tiny tools save you a surprising amount of time. The whole idea is pretty simple: **I wanted to make the small annoying parts of working with media a little easier.** No sign-up, no software to install, and no need to open a full editing suite for every tiny task. I'm going to keep adding and improving things based on what people actually need, so I'd genuinely love to hear your feedback.
