Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Ogulcan, a solo developer at ArveLabs in the UK.
Why I built it: closing a phone is already the gesture for "not now". With the iPhone Duo going on sale today, I wanted that gesture to do something useful, so in FoldFocus closing your phone is the start button for a focus session.
How it works:
• Pick a length (10–120 min) and fold your iPhone Duo shut. The countdown runs on the outer display.
• No Duo? Any iPhone works: lay it face down for two seconds and the session starts.
• While the phone stays closed, a pixel-art building goes up in your city. 15 minutes builds a house, 90 builds a landmark.
• Open it early and you get 10 seconds to close it again. Stay open and the building falls, leaving rubble for a day. Ending in the first minute is a false start, so nothing is lost.
• Streaks, a daily goal and weekly history show the city growing.
What it doesn't do: no account, no app blocking, no Screen Time permissions. Your city and history stay on your iPhone.
