I’m Rasheem, the founder of Flareo.
After being diagnosed with lupus in 2025, I realized how isolating life with a chronic illness can be. Even with supportive family and friends, I wanted to connect with people who truly understood what I was going through.
That experience inspired me to build Flareo.
Flareo is a social community where people living with chronic illnesses and the people who support them can connect through friendship, encouragement, and shared experiences in a safe, welcoming space.
This has been a passion project from day one. We’re still in the early stages, and every new member, piece of feedback, and suggestion helps us build something better for this community.
I’d love to hear your thoughts:
* What features would you find most valuable?
* Is there anything that would make you more likely to join a community like this?
Thanks for checking out Flareo and supporting our launch. It truly means a lot.
The calm, muted color palette already does half the therapeutic work before you even read a thread. Smart choice to put community and peer support at the center instead of metrics and streaks.
