Filmidi
AI Video Editing. Motion Graphics. Edit every layer
"The only editor you need to create and edit motion graphics!" A full-featured NLE with a motion graphics editor, GPU acceleration via Metal on Apple Silicon, hardware decoding and encoding, and agent-driven editing commands. A growing library of fully editable motion graphics templates that AI can edit or you edit yourself without prompting everytime. Access leading AI models for image and video generation, voice generation and cloning, including ElevenLabs, Seedance, and more.
Filmidi brings the entire video editing workflow into one place. Its built-in AI agent can cut, color grade, and export videos, as well as create motion graphics directly on the timeline.
And it's not just a motion graphics tool. Filmidi is a full video editor with three-point editing, trims, keyframes, color grading, audio mixing, captions, and export.
Why we built Filmidi
Every AI motion graphics tool I tried was great at generating something new. But the moment I wanted to change a color, swap a headline, or move a button, I had to prompt again, sometimes writing an entire paragraph just to change the color of a text.
I wanted to fix that gap between generating something and actually editing it.
So we built Filmidi around three ideas:
🎬 Edit, don't regenerate
Change any layer, color, text, or timing directly by hand, or ask the AI agent to do it for you.
🎨 Your motion graphics, your rules
Every layer stays editable. Generate with AI, then tweak the result until it's exactly how you want it.
🤖 Video editing for everyone, including AI agents
Whether you're a professional editor, a content creator, or someone just getting started with video, Filmidi gives you the tools to create and edit videos your way. Work directly on the timeline and canvas, or let AI handle the heavy lifting.
For developers, Filmidi also exposes editing actions as commands, so tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and other AI agents can cut, grade, and export videos directly from your terminal.
We're still early and shipping fast. 🚀
I'd love to hear what you think, what's useful, and what you'd like to see us build next.
