Hey PH! I built FileWash because I was tired of uploading sensitive documents to random websites just to compress a PDF or convert an image.
Everything runs client-side using JavaScript and WebAssembly — your files literally never leave your browser tab. The AI background remover uses U2Net running via ONNX Runtime in WebAssembly.
It's free, no sign-up, no limits. Available in 16 languages. Happy to answer any questions about the tech stack!

FileWash was hunted by Cassi LUP. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
