The idea came from a simple thought: most random picker apps give you an answer instantly, but sometimes the process can be just as enjoyable as the result.
So instead of building another wheel picker, I experimented with different ways to reveal a random choice—wheels, card draws, balloons, multiplayer touch, role dealing, and more.
It's still a random picker at its core, but hopefully one that's a little more fun to use with friends or for everyday decisions.
Love that you built the suspense into the reveal itself instead of just spitting out an answer. The balloon animation is such a small thing but it genuinely makes picking a restaurant way more fun than it has any right to be.
The slow reveals sound like a fun twist on the usual pickers. One thing that would make it even better for friend groups is a way to save or share the result history after a session, so you can look back at what Fate decided and maybe replay a particularly dramatic draw.
