ExportPal
Export any AI chat to PDF, Word or Markdown in one click
Most AI exporters dump raw text or wrap a screenshot in a PDF. ExportPal parses the conversation and rebuilds it as a real document — code blocks keep their spacing, tables stay tables, images come along. It covers 13 AI platforms (not just ChatGPT), exports to PDF, Word, Markdown, TXT, HTML and JSON, and the PDF is vector, so text stays selectable and searchable. Everything runs locally in your browser. Nothing is ever uploaded.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built ExportPal because I kept losing good AI conversations. A long debugging session, a research thread, a detailed explanation — and no clean way to keep any of it. Copy-paste mangles code blocks and tables, screenshots aren't searchable.
So ExportPal doesn't dump text. It parses the conversation and rebuilds it as a real document: code blocks keep their spacing, tables stay tables, images come along.
A few decisions I'm happy with:
• The PDF is vector — real selectable, searchable text, not a screenshot in a PDF wrapper.
• Everything runs locally. No server touches your conversations, so there's nothing to leak.
• Full preview before export — you choose whether your own messages, the AI's replies, titles and timestamps go in.
• 13 platforms supported, and it detects the conversation automatically.
It's free to use, with a Premium tier that lifts the daily cap on PDF and Word exports.
I'd love to hear which AI you use most and what's missing. If a platform changes its layout and extraction breaks, tell me — I'll push a fix.
