I'm Kevin, the creator of Expense Tracker.
This project started from a pretty simple frustration. I was looking for a clean way to understand where my money was going each month, but most budgeting apps felt either overly complicated, packed with features I'd never use, or locked behind subscriptions.
I was too lazy to copy over my transactions from each bank and credit card account on a monthly basis. I kept finding myself going back to spreadsheets, which felt crazy in 2026.
So I decided to build something for myself: a simple expense tracker focused on helping people understand their spending without the learning curve. Just a straightforward way to track transactions, categorize spending, and see where your money is actually going. Then eventually, this translated into tracking my business expenses, and now here we are.
