We made Eggy because we wanted to make a small game around a simple, slightly absurd idea: what would happen if an egg hatched too early and realized what was waiting for the chickens around it?
That idea became Eggy’s story. He sees what’s happening in the hatchery and decides to escape.
We didn’t start with a big game design or a long list of features. We started with that idea and built the gameplay around it — keeping it simple, fast, and focused on Eggy’s escape.
It’s a small game, made by one person, but I had a lot of fun making it. Now I’m curious to see what people think of Eggy. 🥚
