I built Duped because the best part of any trivia night was never the trivia — it was watching someone confidently defend a
fact they'd just made up.
How it works:
• Every day there's one genuinely unbelievable TRUE fact, hidden among lies written by real players
• Spot the truth → grow your Truth Streak
• Then write your own lie for tomorrow's players — everyone you fool grows your Deception Streak
• New case daily, ~2 minutes, free, no account needed
It's a solo project (Next.js + Postgres, with AI refereeing the submitted lies so things stay fun).
